Practice any earbuds with an in-line mic piece of work with xbox one controllers?
My earbuds that came with my Galaxy S7 jail cell phone work for audio but not the mic. I want to use earbuds with an in-line mic for casual gaming and non have to wear my big, heavy headset all the fourth dimension. Anyone accept an amazon link to some that are compatible? Give thanks yous.

Ummm, I use my earbuds that came with my Galaxy S7 all the time and they work fine. The mic is a picayune tranquility merely I've never had a problem. Peradventure your mic on the buds is dead?

My galaxy S7 earbuds work with sound and mic, don't know why yours would have a trouble. Are you using them on the new One S controllers with the straight iii.5mm jack in the controller?

yes i am. the mic works on the phone and my laptop. but not on the xbox ane due south controller.

Accept you tried going to Xbox Accessories and updating your controller? I've been using my S7 earbuds ever since my main headset bankrupt and they work merely fine.

I use my earbuds with mic (aforementioned outcome - mic doesn't work but audio does) plus a lavalier mic and is far less cumbersome than big headphones. The lav mic I use is iRig Mic Lav

in general most earbuds that specifically say android compat will piece of work. I would recommend the bose IE2 for android. (the ones without active noise cancelling)

My Bose earbuds worked and they had pretty good sound as well. Somebody else suggested them as well

Any earbuds with inline mics that are Android compatible will work. Earbuds designed for Apple devices will give you game and chat audio, but the mic will not work.
I've been using Bose QuietComfort buds for a number of years now on my XB1, and have actually enjoyed them.

Any ctia pinout mic works.
apple buds need higher mic bias voltage to piece of work because of the funky mics they decided to use. the controller doesn't provide this higher voltage.
